Most web projects that go off the rails do not go off the rails because of the design. They go off because nobody knows who is doing what, or when. Here is how we fix that.
The five production steps
Day 1 · 15 minutes on the phone
The scoping call
We work out what you actually need. How many pages, which services to lead with, what territory you serve, and above all: what has to happen on this site for you to be happy six months from now.
It is also when we talk about financing, term and conditions. None of that shows up as a surprise later.
Your part: answer the phone for 15 minutes. That is it.
Days 1 to 3
Gathering
We send you one list, once: your logo, your photos, your contact details, your services, your past work. No trickle of emails over three weeks.
No professional photos? We work with good royalty-free photography, and we tell you exactly which pictures to take yourself so it looks right.
Your part: fill in the list. This is the step that decides whether your site ships in 20 days or 40.
Days 4 to 15
Design and copywriting
We design the site and write your copy. No empty mockups to comment on in a vacuum: you get a complete, working version, with your real content, at a private address.
You can open it on your phone, show it to your spouse, your accountant, your best customer. That is far more useful than a picture.
Your part: none. We work, you work.
Days 16 to 25
Your feedback
You tell us what is off, we adjust. Fixing copy, swapping a photo, changing an order: included. Adding five pages that were not in the contract is a change of scope — and we give you a price before doing it.
You never touch anything yourself. We make the changes, inside the 3 hours every 6 months included in your package. Beyond that it is 95 $ an hour, quoted in advance.
Your part: give us all your feedback at once. Drip-fed rounds are what stretch projects out.
Days 26 to 30
Launch
The site goes live on your domain, in your name. We set up your Google Business Profile, install visit tracking, and test every form and every link.
You walk away with your full access, written down in black and white. The site is yours, not ours.
Your part: approve, and start answering the requests.
After launch
We do not disappear.
It is the number one complaint made about agencies, and it is deserved.
- Week 1. We check everything works in real conditions and fix it at no charge.
- Month 1. A follow-up call: is the phone ringing, are the requests coming in.
- Every month. The SEO follow-up included in your package, to keep climbing in Google.
- Ongoing. Daily backups, security updates, and 3 hours of changes every 6 months that we make for you.
